Welcome! Credential Verification is a unique website created to help the public and employers verify credentials of National Certified Counselors (NCCs). Some NCCs may also hold one or more of NBCC’s specialty credentials. All are listed below.

You have several different search options:
NCC ID/Certificate Number Type in ID/Certificate Number and click 'Search'. Note: Typing any information in this field will override all other entered information.
First/Last Name These searches will look for counselors with similar names in the state and/or country selected. Important: The search will look for the letters entered anywhere in the name. For example, if a user wished to search for the first name 'Natalie' by typing 'na', returned results would include 'Nathan', 'Gina', and 'Jonas'.
State Selecting a state alone will return a list of all NCCs in that state. If any name information is provided, the results will be filtered by that criteria.
Country Selecting a country alone will return a list of all NCCs in that country. If any name information is provided, the results will be filtered by that criteria.
NBCC maintains the certification information on this website and considers it to be a secure, primary source for certification verification.
