CCE to Provide Review Services on Behalf of the Iowa Board of Behavioral Science

Beginning April 1, 2009, CCE will provide education review services on behalf of the Iowa Board of Behavioral Science.

CCE will review the education of candidates applying for licensure as Mental Health Counselors, whose degrees were completed through any program other than a mental health counseling program accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs. In addition, CCE will review the education of candidates applying for licensure as Marital and Family Therapists, whose degree programs did not hold accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education.
